This site is my testing ground. It's a place for me to try different configurations and different ways to use XenWord and XenLate. Since XenWord is a simple bridge built as a WordPress plugin, then where is WordPress? After all, XenLate requires a WordPress installation, too.
Why not keep testing to a development server? Why use a "live" server?
Consider this site as the "beta" environment...
Tinkering continues and it's great to report that I figured out how to properly write an OOP class for meta boxes. Only one has been rewritten but it's about freaking time!
The last few releases have been developed with the WordPress 5.9 betas and release candidates as well as PHP 8.1.

XenWord 2022 January 16 release supports the thread type from the WordPress post. A meta box labeled Thread Type has four radio buttons: discussion, article, poll, question. No default is set. On publish, the chosen thread type is set in XenForo. On Update, it's possible to change the type to one of the other options.
